Focus on the Family Indonesia
Fokus Pada Keluarga (FPK) was established in 1996 and is located in Jakarta with a staff of 13. Millions of Indonesian families have been touched through radio broadcasts, seminars, counselors, and printed materials. In the aftermath of the South East Asia Tsunami in 2005, FPK translated and provided 300,000 booklets based on Dr. Dobson’s book, “When God Doesn’t Make Sense” to those affected, as well as provided medical supplies, doctors and counseling services. Dr. Dobson’s 2 minute commentaries can be heard on over 150 private radio stations, as well as the largest national radio station with a potential reach of 60 million listeners daily. FPK is also working with the government to accept No Apologies in Indonesian schools.
